"City Clinic - Oncology Center" is a modern oncological clinic, part of "City Hospitals and Clinics”, Bulgaria. It is located on "Tsarigradsko Shosse" Blvd at the exit for the airport. The building is a reconstruction, whose conceptual design is the work of American firm HKS Inc., while the ideological, technical and operational phase is developed by "Proarch”. The clinic has a total area of just over 10,000 m², spread over eight floors, including one underground.

  The specificity of the project is its essence - the reconstruction of the existing building and its functional reorganization from an office to a hospital. The building was fully reconstructed and completed so that it meets the specific requirements of a hospital. The designers have added a new communication core with stairs and two hospital elevators from the rear side, in order to facilitate all  functional connections between the different compartments. The oncology profile of the hospital determines the design of a number of areas with serious radiation protection. Functional layout, advanced technology and hospital environment that meets the specific needs of the patient are the main objectives in the project.
